Frequently Asked Questions About Our Brighton Gyms
Our Brighton gyms do not currently have free parking, however there are car parks close by, as well as off-street parking by our Brighton Central gym.
All of our gyms in Brighton are open 24 hours.
PureGym memberships are contract-free, so you can join without committing to staying for longer periods. We also do 1, 3, 7, and 30 day passes if you’d rather try the gym for a shorter period before joining.
All our gyms in Brighton offer a mix of free weights, plate loaded, cable, and fixed resistance machines, cardio machines, and functional equipment. The equipment between gyms may vary slightly.
All the gyms in Brighton run group fitness classes throughout the week, which are included in your membership. Class timetables vary between each gym. To see what classes are on, visit the individual gym pages or download the free PureGym app.
All the gyms in Brighton have a friendly team of Personal Trainers available to hire. PTs can help you to achieve your fitness goals in several ways including 121 training sessions and bespoke fitness programmes. All the gyms in Brighton have male and female changing areas with individual showers, free lockers, hairdryers, and spare plug sockets, as well as toilets. You’ll need to bring your own padlock for the lockers.
None of our gyms in Brighton currently have a women's workout space.
Members need to be at least 16 years old to sign up for a PureGym membership.

For spin fans and those who love a HIIT style class, our London Road gym has more Circuit and Cycle classes. We also have several dance classes at this gym if you are looking for a fun, dance inspired workout!

Best gyms for beginners
All our gyms have a friendly team of Personal Trainers who are on hand to help with any questions you may have. If you're new and would benefit from some tailored help, PureGym Brighton Central has more Learn To Lift workshops and Get Started classes available, both which are aimed at helping beginners learn how to use equipment and perform exercises safely. Brighton Central also has more PTs available to hire for 1-2-1 sessions.
Best gyms for students
With contract-free memberships and low monthly costs, our Brighton gyms are perfect for students. If you study at the University of Brighton's City Campus, PureGym Brighton Central is just a 10 minute walk away, and our Brighton London Road gym is a 15 minute walk. For those who go to Moulsecoomb campus, both gyms are a 15 minutes' away by train or 25 minutes by bus.
If you attend the University of Sussex, both gyms are less than a 20 minute drive away, and PureGym Brighton Central has off-street parking nearby which is free after 6pm.
