Our high energy HIIT class will build your athletic fitness and have you sweating whilst developing your speed, balance and agility using bodyweight exercises! Through High-Intensity Interval Training, this class is designed to deliver an endorphin boost, leaving you feeling invigorated and uplifted long after your workout! Each class has been designed with adaptable modifications so whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned athlete you'll get to work at your own pace and achieve a great workout.

HOW TO BOOK A CLASS
It's very easy to book a spot on one of our HIIT classes using the PureGym App or on our website. Simply select your chosen gym, view the class timetable and select HIIT in the class calendar.
If you are new to a PureGym class, let your instructor know when you arrive, and they will help you get started.
WHAT TO WEAR
Come dressed in comfortable, breathable non-restrictive clothing -- remember, our classes will get you moving and working up a sweat! Don't forget to bring a towel to freshen up and a water bottle to hydrate (we have water fountains in every gym to refill any reusable water bottle).
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HIIT classes (High-Intensity Interval Training) are a workout that alternates between short bursts of intense exercise and periods of lower-intensity activity or rest. In this workout, you’d expect to cover a variation of exercises such as burpees, sprints, jumping jacks and many more.
A HIIT class is a full body workout performed at a high intensity, using your body weight as resistance. Attending this class can help to increase your energy expenditure, which in turn can help aid with weight loss.
Our HIIT class is good for increasing overall fitness and endurance, improving muscular strengths, and burning calories to help aid fat loss.
HIIT classes are designed to push you and give you a full-body workout but we always have a trained instructor at hand to motivate and support throughout, so all fitness levels are welcome!
We would recommend not doing a HIIT class whilst pregnant. Women are advised to reduce their exercise intensity during pregnancy so high intensity interval training should be avoided. We advise talking to your doctor about exercising when pregnant, and then take a look at our other class options which are more suitable.
You can expect to burn between 350 - 700 calories in a HIIT class. Calories burned depends on many factors such as the length of the class, how much you weigh, and how hard you exercise so this will be dependent on the individual.
How many HIIT classes you do in a week is very much down to your fitness level, goals and recovery capacity. The key thing is to listen to your body and if feeling fatigued or tired, you can adjust your amount of training accordingly to reduce risk of burn outs and injury.
