Our new Mind classes are designed to improve flexibility, mobility, stability, and strength while improving mind-body connection and wellbeing. Each workout draws inspiration from practices including yoga, pilates, and calisthenics, as well as rehabilitation principles, with the central theme being the connection between mind and movement. You'll leave class with a renewed sense of wellbeing, as well as stronger and more stable muscles and joints to help prevent injuries.

HOW TO BOOK A CLASS

It's very easy to book a spot on one of our Mind classes using the PureGym App or on our website. Simply select your chosen gym, view the class timetable and select Mind in the class calendar.

If you are new to a PureGym class, let your instructor know when you arrive, and they will help you get started.

WHAT TO WEAR

Come dressed in comfortable, breathable non-restrictive clothing. Don't forget to bring a towel to freshen up and a water bottle to hydrate (we have water fountains in every gym to refill any reusable water bottle).

What is a Mind class?

Inspired by a mixture of yoga, pilates, callisthenics, and rehabilitation techniques, our Mind classes offer a holistic mind and body workout. You'll encounter exercises similar to those found in yoga, pilates, and flexibility classes, all designed to help with your overall fitness and wellbeing.

What happens at a Mind class?

Each class can vary from session to session. Some may have more of a focus on yoga positions and breathing techniques, whilst others may concentrate on calisthenics and flexibility. The exciting part of these classes is that you’ll get a fusion of workouts from exercises centered around your overall wellbeing.

Is a Mind class good for my mental health?

Yes, exercises like yoga, pilates, flexibility training, and callisthenics, which are all many of the workouts included in our Mind classes, are excellent for your mental health. These forms of exercise combine movement with mindfulness, breathing techniques, and rehabilitation, offering a range of benefits for mental wellbeing.
