Having struggled for many years with my own weight and eating I have in the past 8 years developed a passion for gym-based health and fitness. In this time, I have introduced friends and family to the gym and loved seeing them make progress and develop their own health routines. This is why I feel most confident introducing people to exercise and helping to establish good habits early in their journeys. Now working at Puregym, I am excited to help others learn the benefits of exercise and how to perform them safely while showing that there are many ways to keep fit in the gym and it is most fun when you find the right one for you. I have, in the past, kept fit by hiking and distance running but now prefer resistance and weight training. I am not a natural athlete and so understand it is difficult to keep fit before finding the type of exercise best suited to you.
