About me

After many years in a stressful corporate environment I retrained as a Personal Trainer. Throughout my career I found the gym to be a great stress reliever.

Don’t get me wrong, as much as I love the gym I still find it intimidating at times, even today after 30+ years of being a gym goer I can still get gym anxiety. But I’ve learned to push through knowing that I will quickly adapt and begin to enjoy the benefits. With the knowledge of how intimidating it can be, especially as an older woman, I can help you grow your confidence and reduce your gym anxiety. After all I’ve been there!

Weight training for women has so many benefits. It helps strengthen bones, burn body fat, improve mood, improve sleep, posture, skin, the list goes on! Best of all it’s anti-ageing. And imagine being able to bend down to pick things up or carry heavy shopping without a thought!
