Hi, I'm Matthew (Big Matt) of O'Neill Health and Performance.
I'm passionate ahout exercise and currently compete in Strongman at both the Scottish and British levels. Over the years, I've gained invaluable experience across various aspects of training and coaching. To further my expertise, I earned an HND in Fitness, Health and Exercise in 2020, followed by a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science in 2023.
With this solid foundation, I'm commited to helping clients achieve their goals and boost their confidence in the gym. Whether you're looking to lose weight, gain muscle, enhance strength and conditioning, or improve general fitness, I'll create a tailored training programme that suits your specific needs and takes your fitness journey to the next level.
Fitness is a continual process, and my aim is to help you make steady progress. I focus on building sustainable habits, maintaining motivation, and ensuring that each workout is both effective and challenging. I also provide guidance on nutrition, helping you make informed choices to fuel your body and support your goals. I understand that everyone has different neeeds, and I tailor my coaching to suit each invidivual. Whether you're just starting out or already experienced, my aim is to make each session productive, rewarding, and aligned with your overall Health and Fitness goals.
