About me

I'm Matt, and I want you to think differently about Fitness

Ataraxia Strength and Fitness is all about putting the power in your hands - giving you the tools to build a habit of training that fits around your life, your routine and your goals. I’m Matt, and I’ve been involved in the fitness industry for over 5 years. In that time, I’ve helped clients aged 5-75, from all walks of life, improve their physical and mental wellbeing. Through a mainly strength based training methodology, I want to not only teach you how to train effectively and intelligently, but to give you the confidence and ability to maintain a lifelong relationship with fitness. Drawing from old school lifting culture, traditional martial arts training and modern science based methods, delivered thoughtfully and with a smile, I want to empower you to build a stronger and healthier life for yourself, your loved ones and your community!
