About me

You've made it this far, congratulations!

Whatever your fitness or wellness goal, my goal remains the same: I'm here to make you smile while making you work, and to share your progress as you move from having a goal to meeting that goal.

I work primarily with women and men in their 30s, 40s, and 50s as we navigate changes to our bodies, but my oldest client is 80 and my youngest in her early 20s, so I'd love to hear from you whatever age and stage you're at.

I've always been passionate about exercise and believe strongly that, when combined with other elements of a balanced life (sleep, stress management, nutrition...), it can be life changing. There's no right or wrong way, only the way that works for you. We'll find that together.

Before becoming a personal trainer, I lived and worked for 25 years in Asia, where I started out as a financial journalist in Shanghai before moving to Vietnam and a career in governance and international development, then international education. I'm a mum of two amazing children in their 20s, one of whom is transgender and through whom I've developed a strong interest in how hormonal changes affect our bodies and our exercise needs. I'm currently undertaking further study around the intersection of hormones and nutrition.

Now in my mid 50s, I love working with people who know that their body can do more, be more, and feel more energetic, but who may want help creating structure around the process of making that happen.
