Fitness has always been my passion so working within the gym has only made me want to do more within the fitness world by helping others achieve whatever health and fitness goals that they wish to achieve.
My own fitness journey began when I was 30 and I had the idea that I wanted to do something with my life. I decided that joining the army was it, however being an unhealthy 17st, with [the army requiring that I weighed no more than 14.5st) it only made me more determined to achieve my goal.
My journey towards my goal took 2 years, mostly due to me not knowing how to go about the task, as well as having lots of ups and downs [such as shin splints and putting on to much muscle] which is crazy because even though I was shedding fat I wasn’t losing weight. I finally joined the army in September 2012 when I was 32 and true to form [lol] I get injured 2 weeks in and have to be discharged. I wasn’t sad as during the processi was becoming less interested in the army and more interested in fitness.
My aim now is to help others achieve their goals be getting stronger, cutting a few pounds or simply just upping your fitness levels.
My main area of experience is with building muscle and strength.
