There are a few reasons why you have been charged while your membership is frozen:
You're a Core or Off-peak member
Core and Off-peak members pay £6.99 per month to freeze. You are able to freeze for 3 months within a 12 month period, with your first month beginning when your freeze starts.
You've used your allowance of free freezes
Plus members are able to freeze for free for up to 3 months within a 12 month period. If you have reached the end of those 3 months and would like to freeze for longer, you will start to be charged £6.99 per month.
You have extended your freeze too close to your payment day
If your freeze was due to end in the next few days and you extended it at the last minute, it's likely that we'd already requested your Direct Debit payment through your bank and it couldn't be stopped. Don't worry though, the money will be used towards your next Direct Debit payment!
