All the gyms in Belfast have a friendly team of Personal Trainers available to hire. PTs can help you to achieve your fitness goals in several ways including 121 training sessions and bespoke fitness programmes. All the gyms in Belfast have male and female changing areas with individual showers, free lockers, hairdryers, and spare plug sockets, as well as toilets. You’ll need to bring your own padlock for the lockers.
None of our gyms in Belfast currently have a ladies’ only section.

Best gyms for classes
PureGym Belfast Adelaide Street has slightly more classes each week than our other Belfast gyms, with classes running from as early as 6.15am until as late as 8.15pm. Our St Anne's Square gym and Newtonabbey gyms have the second largest class timetables. Check the gym pages or download the free PureGym app for the full timetables.
Best gyms for beginners
All of our Belfast gyms are suitable for beginners, however PureGym Belfast Adelaide Street has 40+ induction and Learn To Lift classes aimed at improving beginner's confidence in the gym, which may be a helpful option if you're just starting out.

If you prefer a more functional training style than than traditional weightlifting, you can still get everything you need at some of our Belfast gyms. PureGym Belfast Boucher Road has been refurbished to include a huge functional area, rig, and stretch area, perfect for all aspects of calisthenics style training. PureGym Belfast St Anne's Square also has a rig to incorporate calithenics moves into your workouts.

All of our city centre gyms are within 1 mile from Belfast's train centres, with Belfast Adelaide Street just 0.2 miles from Great Victoria Street Railway Station and 0.4 miles from Botanic Railway Station. If you commute by car, PureGym Belfast Boucher Road is 1.2 miles away from the M1 and has free parking for members.
